Margaret Jane Campbell, age 88, a longtime resident of Valparaiso passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2011. She was born on September 15, 1922 the daughter of Charles and Nona Bachelor. She was married to John Holland who preceded her in death. She was also married to Basil Campbell who preceded her in death. Margaret was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, bowling, and playing yahtzee.

Margaret is survived by her loving family; son Kenneth Campbell, Valparaiso, son Charlie (Tina) Holland, Alton, California, son John Holland, Valparaiso, daughter Linda Holland, Valparaiso, 16 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and other loving family and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John Holland, her husband Basil Campbell, her son Jay Holland, and her daughter Patricia Stevens, 5 brothers Frank, Alvin, John, Chuck, Clifford, and 2 sisters Mary Elizabeth, and Lillian.

A visitation for Margaret Campbell will be held from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Rees Funeral Home – Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage with a funeral service at 1:00 pm. Burial will be at Chapel Lawn Cemetery in Schererville. Memorials in Margaret's memory may be made to the Campbell family.
