Margaret A. Hack, age 51 of Hobart passed away Sunday, October 23, 2022 at St. Mary Medical Center. She was born on September 24, 1971 in Hammond, Indiana to the late James A. Hack and Joyce M. Seward. She was a very social person. Margaret loved music, taking pictures and making videos of her family. She was a hard worker and dedicated her life to taking care of her family.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Melissa (Gary) DeMoss; son, Kevin T. (Jordan Mata) Smith; grandchildren, Kevin, Noah, Kiley, Autumn, Kaleb and Shawn; brothers, Kevin (Robin) Hack, John Hack; sisters, Melissa (Tony) Spurlock, Brenda (David) Holt, Debbie (George) Swartzell; significant other, Anthony M. Hollinger; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Marie Seward; father, James A. Hack, Sr.; stepdad, Edward Williford; brother, Jimmy Hack, Jr.; sister, Christine Bryant; uncle, Terry Koselke.
A funeral service for Margaret will take place Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart. Visitation will be held Thursday from 11:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Evergreen Memorial Park. For more information, please call (219) 942-2109.
