Margaret J. Lewis

Margaret J. Lewis a ge 92, of Valparaiso passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 18, 1926 in Clinton, Indiana to the late Glenn and Artie Marie (nee Carlin) Newland. Margaret was an avid bowler and a past War Mother and Eastern Star member. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great – grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Margaret is survived by her son Virgil Lewis of Valparaiso; two grandchildren; Michael L. (Kristol) Lewis and Heather Hardison;   five great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren and brother, Virnel Newland and many other loving family members and friends.

Margaret was preceded in death by her loving husband, Max L. Lewis.
