"Peggy",
age 70 of Hobart passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, Sunday, March 6, 2011. She was born on October 14, 1940 in Harvey, Illinois to the late Frank and Catherine Strout. She grew up in Riverdale, Illinois, and graduated from Thornton Township High School in 1958. Peggy especially enjoyed her family, drawing, painting and gardening.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Struven of Hobart, 3 daughters, Therese Struven of Crown Point, Rebecca (Gary) Larson of Dyer, Lydia Struven of Hobart, her twin sister, Patricia Hanschman of St Charles, IL. She also leaves, to cherish fond memories of their loving grandmother, Emily, Matthew, Gabrielle, Branden, Zach, Nick, Katie, Madison, Luke, and Thomas. Also 2 sisters-in-law, Joan (Bob) Hernandez, and Susan Pasquini, many nieces and nephews, and her cat, Junior, and dog, Jesse.
Funeral services are Monday March 14, 2011 at 12 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart. Cremation will follow.
