Rosta, Margaret
Age 97, of Shelby Township, Michigan, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Regency of Shelby Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by Louis Rosta, her husband of 72 years. She had been a life-long resident of Hobart until moving to Michigan to live with her son Dennis and his wife Pamela.
In addition to Dennis and Pamela, she is survived by her daughter Barbara Gross of Hobart, 3 granddaughters: Erin (Shawn) Sanchez of Macomb Township, Mi., Lauryn (Jason) Shugars of Natick, Ma., and Stacy Gross, 2 great grandsons: Vincent Louis Mitchell and Colton Shawn Sanchez, 2 great granddaughters: Isabella Rose Sanchez and Sienna Grace Shugars and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her grandson Chad Gross.
Memorial donations are preferred to the VNA of Porter County, 2401 Valley Dr., Valparaiso, In. 46383.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 10:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart. Entombment will follow at Calumet Part Cemetery Mausoleum in Merrillville, Indiana.
