MARGUERITE HREHA, age 87, of Cypress, California, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at home. Marguerite was a former Portage resident for 43 and retired from K Mart Corporation. She was a former member of Nativity of Our Savior Catholic Church and the Ladies Sodality. Marguerite was a volunteer at the VA Hospital in Lancaster, CA and at Lakewood Regional Medical Center in Lakewood, CA.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Jean Hreha of Glendale, CA, her son, William (Anna) Hreha of San Jose, CA, 2 grandchildren: Teri and Caryn and sister-in-law, Phyllis Toigo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Hreha, daughter, Vicki Lynn, sister, Louise Kowalczyk and brother, Tony Toigo.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 10:00 am at Nativity of Our Savior Catholic Church, 2949 Willowcreek Rd. Portage; with Rev. Andrew J. Corona celebrating the Mass. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Portage, Indiana. Visitation will also be Saturday from 9-10 am at Nativity of Our Savior Church.
