MARIA CECILIA FLORES, known to many as "CECY", age 58, of Hobart, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She retired from Wal-Mart Vision in Merrillville after 20 years of service. Cecy was a faithful member of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was a loving woman who enjoyed taking care of her family. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend.

She was preceded in death by her father, Catalino Castro.

Cecy is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 39 years, Jose; 3 sons, Ferdinand "Nandy" (Robin) Flores, David (Crissi) Flores and Joel (Jennifer) Flores; mother, Juana Castro; numerous grandchildren; 4 brothers, Benjamin, Tomas, Eduardo, and Nelson Castro; 4 sisters, Olga, Benny, Nellie, and Ruth; other loving family and friends.

A memorial service for Cecy will be Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Witness, 2727 E. Cleveland Ave., Hobart, IN. Rees Funeral Home assisted with arrangements, (219) 942-2109.
