Maria de la Paz Lehocky, age 79 of Portage passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015. She was born on April 25, 1936 in Grazelema, Cadez, Spain. She was a longtime member of Nativity of Our Savior. She enjoyed flowers and flower gardening.

She is survived by her loving husband of over 45 years, Michael Lehocky of Portage, IN; one son, Diego (Tandi) Lehocky of Wilmington, NC; one daughter, Katherine (Steven) Sampson of Acworth, GA; three brothers, Diego (Conchi) Barea Rivero, Juan (Pipita) Barea Rivero, Sebastian (Victoria) Barea Rivero, one sister Conchi Barea de Jemenez all of Spain; 4 grandchildren, Jacqueline, Steven, Bryce, and Brock.

She was preceded in death by her father, Diego Barea, and her mother, Concepcion Rivero.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Nativity of Our Savior, 2949 Willowcreek Road, Portage with Rev. Andrew J. Corona officiating.
