Maria Zdravich, age 95 of Hobart passed away November 22, 2022. She was born on January 19, 1927 in Osijek, Yugoslavia to the late Kovot and Margaret Baumholzer. She worked as a seamstress for Joyce Manufacturing for over 30 years. She enjoyed her beautiful gardens and working in her yard. Maria loved her Lord and Savior and was a dedicated member of Central Baptist Church for many years. She enjoyed hosting Bible study with friends in her home and participating in the ladies missionary fellowship at church.

She is survived by her sons, John (Regina) Zdravich, Dan (Mary) Zdravich; daughter, Angelina Zdravich (Dave); daughter-in-law, Cindy Zdravich.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Milomir Zdravich; and her son, Alexander Zdravich.

Visitation for Maria will be held Monday, November 28, 2022 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart. A funeral service for her will take place Monday at 11:00 am at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville. For more information, please call (219) 942-2109.
