MARIAN G. KNAPP, age 86, of Portage, passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2010 Golden Living Center, Fountainview Place in Portage. Marian had been a lifelong Northwest Indiana resident and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her son, William Sr. (Carol) Knapp of Portage, 3 grandchildren: Jeanette Banks of Portage, Meredith (Will) Thacker of Tennessee, William Jr. (Sarah) Knapp of Portage, 3 great grandchildren: Troy Knapp, Justin Thacker, Logan Knapp. Her husband, John J. Knapp, Jr. and brother, James Gursky, preceded her in death.
There was no visitation or services. Marian's cremains were inurned at the columbarium at Calvary Cemetery in Portage, Indiana. Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage, handled the arrangements. For information please call 219-762-3013 or online www.ReesFuneralHomes.com.
