Marian Amelia Robinson, age 88 of Hobart passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2025.  Marian had worked many years as a Cashier at Mercy Hospital in Gary.  She loved gardening, her roses, and going to the Hobart farmer's market.  Most of all Marian loved being with her family and her puppy, "Penny", they meant everything to her.

She is survived by one daughter, Cynthia Ann Roop of Hobart, IN; four grandchildren, Angela (Scott) Deal, Nicole (John) Dvorscak, Jessica (Michael) Sanchez, Amelia (Edwin) Arroyo, six great-grandchildren, Addison, Tyler, Caden, Hallie, Lydia, Edwin, and fur babies, "Lucy and Penny".

She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Turner, and Dennis Robinson, two daughters, Marlene Turner and Christine Gutzmer, and two sisters, Virginia Rasmussen, and Shirley Conners.

Cremation will take place with Rees Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Hobart.  Burial of cremains will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Portage.  A celebration of life will take place at a later time.
