Marianna Lee Klunder

Marianna Lee Klunder, age 80, of Portage passed away Monday October 18, 2021 in her home with her family at her side.  She was born March 6, 1941 in Gary, Indiana to the late Steve and Marianna (Courtney) Czilli. Marianna worked as a Coil Bander for Bethlehem Steel for over 33 years. She loved playing Bunco and shared that love with her family. She was known for her kind generous nature, and Sunday dinners that anyone was welcome to.  There was never a child that knew a grandmother's love like the kind she gave.  She always saw the good in everyone and loved without judgement.  She touched so many lives and always put others first.  She should be an inspiration to the way we all live our lives.

Marianna is survived by three daughters, Julie (Tom) Foley, Sandra (Mike) Hodges, and Dawn Eidman all of Portage; seven grandchildren, Doug Wilson, Leanna Castaneda, Amber Eidman, Carrie Owens, Chris Moss, Devyn Cooper, and Jazmyn Johnston; great grandchildren; Jeremiah Kane, Tracy Kane, Karli Kane, Chase Kane, Skye Castenada, Nevaeh Meador, Trevor Foster, Olivia Hampton, Patience Bender, Natalie Moss, and Oliver Moss; four sisters, Barb (Bill) Mills, Caroline (Larry) Zonder, Loretta (Tito) Yanez, and Nadine (John) Frame; one brother, Jack (Willie) Czilli; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Charlene Eidman and Kimberly Chavez; one granddaughter, Bridjette Kane; great grandson, Tyler Nunley and brother, Stephen Czilli.

A Celebration of Marianna's Life will begin with a memorial visitation Saturday October 30, 2021 from 3-5 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Avenue Portage, Indiana which will be followed immediately by a Memorial Service at 5 PM with Chaplain Ben Polhemus officiating.
