Marie Frazier

Marie Frazier, age 89, of Indianapolis Indiana, passed away Tuesday February 6, 2018.Mrs. Frazier was born October 14, 1928 in Gary Indiana, grew up in then East Gary Indiana, lived with her husband in Portage Indiana for 62 years, before moving five years ago to Indianapolis Indiana. A Graduate and Valedictorian of her class from East Gary Edison High School, she worked as an accountant for Blaney Auto Parts for a while before becoming a full-time home maker. Her and Husband were active dancers, belonging to the Cross Trailers square dance club and she loved to travel with her husband and children.

She was a long-time member of Community Presbyterian Church of Lake Station Indiana and most recently a member of St. Lukes United Methodist Church in Indianapolis.

Preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Winifred Munro, Sister Jeanette Olson, Brother in Law Hebert Olson and Brother Robert Munro.

Survived by Husband William, of Indianapolis (formerly of Portage) her loving husband for 67 years, and Sister- in-law JoAn Munro. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and survived by 2 Sons; William Scott (Jo-Anne) of Downingtown PA,  and Bradley Hugh (Kathy) of Indianapolis. 4 Grandchildren; Zachary (Susan) Frazier of Oshkosh WI, Adam (Amanda) Frazier of Norwalk CT, Jessica Frazier of Downingtown PA, and Mark Frazier of Downingtown PA. and 3 Great Grandchildren; Felicity, Simon and Adelyn Frazier of Oshkosh WI, and many loving nieces and Nephews.

Memorial contributions may be given to Community Presbyterian Church of Lake Station and/or the Alzheimer's Association

Funeral services are Saturday February 10, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage with Rev Calvin Hawkins officiating.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
