Marie Owens

Marie Owens, age 94, of Hobart, passed away Monday, June 22, 2020 at Addison Pointe in Chesterton.  She was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 2, 1925 to the late James and Lillian (nee Stidham) Piscopo. She will be remembered as a loving mother; grandmother; great-grandmother and friend.

Marie is survived by her husband, Kenneth Owens; daughters, Janet (Sargon) Tamras, Kathlene Krisch, Edna Whitaker; son, Albert Owens; six grandchildren;ten great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth; grandson, George Krajnovich; sister, Carmella Bolivar; and her parents.

A funeral service for Marie will take place Friday, June 26,2020 at 10:00 am with Pastor Bob Burton officiating at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd.
