MARIE M. WENDRICKX, age 90, of Lake Station, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2011 in Westville at her daughter's home surrounded by her loving family. Marie had been a longtime Northwest Indiana resident and member of Assumption B.V.M. Catholic Church in New Chicago. She was a loving wife and mother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Wendrickx, 3 sons: Melvin, Wesley & Robert Wendrickx.
Eva is survived by 3 sons: Joe (Maureen) of Portage, Vick (Debbie) Wendrickx of Valparaiso, Jim (Robbie) of Florida, 5 daughters: Margaret (Wallace "Butch") Riley of Westville, Linda (Louie) Rodriguez of Portage, Eunice (Gene) Blunk and Aldena Gonzalez, both of Valparaiso, Debbie (Dennis) Welches of Portage, 18 grandchilden, numerous great grandchildren, numerous nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, July 15, 2011 at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage, at 1:00 pm until 2:30 pm. The Funeral Service will begin at 2:30 pm with Rev.
