MARILYN K. HARDY, age 63, of Miller area of Gary, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Methodist Hospital, Northlake Campus. Marilyn had been a Miller resident for over 35 years and was a member of St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church. She attended Adrien College in Michigan and received her Masters Degree in Social Work from Indiana University Northwest. Marilyn was employed for 39 years with the State of Indiana as a supervisor for Vocational Rehabilitation Services.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Hardy in May of 2010 and her parents, Donald & Margaret Williams. She is survived by her daughters, Angela Hardy (Andrew Kalishman) of Albuquerque, N.M. and Renee Hardy of Indianapolis, 2 grandchildren, Tyler Tennione and Luca Kalishman, 2 sisters, Nancy (Jim) Fox of Ohio and Connie (Paul) Moodie of Illinois and numerous nieces & nephews.
Memorial Mass for Marilyn will be celebrated on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary of the Lake Church, 6060 Miller Avenue, Gary, Indiana 46403 with Rev.
