Marilyn C. Wilshire, age 71, of Lake Station passed away Friday December 2, 2022, in her home with her family at her side. She was born May 25, 1951, in Dyersburg, Tennessee to the late John Richard and Artie Lois (Palmer) Lee. She was a loving Wife, Mother. Marilyn was a long-time active member of The Church of Jesus Christ in Portage. She played piano for the Church; she led the Church Chior; and she was a former youth Sunday School Teacher.

She is survived by her loving husband, James Wilshire of Lake Station; three children, Michelle Gray of New Chicago, Kimberly (James) Sutton of Lake Station, and Kevin Lee (Jenn) Wilshire of DeMotte; a niece, Judy Davis of LeMont, Illinois; and many dear friends.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am until Noon Wednesday December 7, 2022, at the Church of Jesus Christ 2797 Bryant Street Portage, IN 46368. Her funeral service will follow immediately at the church with Pastor Jarret Spence officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
