Marion B. Chapman (nee Anderson) age 89 of Hobart passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2013. She was born on April 15, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois. She was a longtime Hobart resident.
She is survived by 2 sons, Leroy A. (Judy) Chapman of Portage, IN; Ronald D. (Linda) Chapman of Valparaiso, IN; 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson, special niece, Carol Lenz. She loved flowers and her dog, "Ringo".
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlie O. Chapman, her parents, Arthur and Gertrude Anderson , 2 brothers, Arthur William "Sonny" Anderson, Clyde Edward "Mickey" Anderson, 1 sister, Lorraine Ester Lenz (nee Anderson), and 1 grandson, Mark Chapman.
Funeral services are Monday, October 7, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart with Rev. Don Good officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Hobart.
