Mark A. De Jesus

Mark A. De Jesus, age 59 of Valparaiso, passed away Friday, February 14, 2025, at home surrounded by his family. He was born on March 28, 1965, in Gary, Indiana to Antonio and Julia De Jesus. Mark attended Opportunity Enterprises and loved participating in the Special Olympics. He enjoyed being involved in community activities and always kept himself busy. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend to many.

He is survived by his parents, Antonio and Julia De Jesus; sister, Yvette (Mark) Thiros; 2 nieces, Camille and Bianca Thiros; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins; and his family at Opportunity Enterprises.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Demaso and Hilia Serrano; and paternal grandparents, Angelo and Juanita De Jesus.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place Friday, February 21, 2025, at 10:00 am directly at Nativity of Our Savior Catholic Church, 2949 Willowcreek Road, Portage.
