Mark E. Isolampi

MARK E. ISOLAMPI, age 58, of Hobart, passed away suddenly on Monday, July 17, 2017. He was born on July 1, 1959 in Gary. Mark was a graduate of Merrillville High School in 1977 and went on to graduate from Lincoln Technical Institute. He was currently employed with Whiteco Pool Solutions. Mark was a very involved member of Augustana Lutheran Church in Hobart, where he served as a head usher at the 2nd service. He was also an active member of the Hobart Historical Society. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, son, and brother.
Mark is survived by his wife of 33 years, Paula (nee Newcom); 2 sons, Tristan and Cameron Isolampi; mother, Shirley Isolampi; brother, Matt Isolampi; sister, Shari (Chris) Isolampi-Smith; several nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gene Isolampi.
Funeral services for Mark will be Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Augustana Lutheran Church, 207 Kelly St., Hobart with Rev. Charles R. Strietelmeier officiating. Burial will follow at McCool Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 25, 2017 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at Augustana Lutheran Church with additional visitation on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
