Mark Alan Johnson, age 52 of Uniontown, Ohio passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011. He was born in Valparaiso, Indiana on August 29, 1958. He was a former Hobart resident and a graduate of Hobart High School, Class of 1976. Mark graduated in 1981 from Indiana University Bloomington, School of Business, with a degree in Accounting. He was also a member of the IU Alumni Association. He worked as a controller at Eliokem/Omnova. Mark was a member of the Hudson United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Terri Kaye Johnson of Hudson, OH; 3 children, Benjamin Karl (Holli) Johnson of Calumet, MI; Christopher Alan Johnson of Columbus, OH; Sara Leslie Johnson of Bloomington, IN; parents, Robert and Bonnie Johnson of Hobart, IN; 2 brothers, Keith Johnson of Chesterton, IN; Richard (Steve Engles) Johnson of Chicago, IL; dear friend and caregiver, Alice Culbreth of Washington D.C., and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart. Burial will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN.
