Mark A. Roman, Sr., age 42 a lifetime Portage resident passed away Sunday, July 24, 2022.  He was born on December 4, 1979, in Merrillville, Indiana.  Mark worked as a Plant Manager for ITR Solutions.  He was a member of the Bloodline Church in Lake Station. Mark enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his children, Cristal (Samuel Hirosky) Brown of Lake Station, IN; Mark Roman, Jr. of Lake Station, IN; Alexas Roman of Lake Station, IN; Mariah Rivera of Portage, IN; Kristina Rivera of Portage, IN; Xavier Roman of Portage, IN; his father, William (Linda) Roman of Portage, IN; his mother, Rosa (Jessie) Rowe of Portage, IN; siblings, Michelle (Felipe) Rivera of Portage, IN; William Roman of Valparaiso, IN; grandchildren, Caroline Hirosky, Kalani McCallister, significant other, Jennifer Looney of Portage, IN; longtime friend, April Brown, cousin, Mike Roman, and many more cousins. A visitation for Mark will be held Sunday, July 31, 2022, from 2:00-8:00pm at Rees Funeral Home, 5341 Central Ave. Portage, Indiana 46368. Burial at Calvary Cemetery in Portage.
