Mark Lee Solomon, age 59, a resident of Hobart, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2015. He was born on January 30, 1956 in Gary, Indiana to Delbert and the late Dorothy Faye (nee Cravens) Solomon. Mark enjoyed fishing, bird watching and spending time in nature. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, brother-in law, uncle, great uncle and friend.
Mark is survived by his father, Delbert G. Solomon, of Hobart; two brothers, Thomas (Natalie) Solomon of Hobart and Robert Solomon of Valparaiso; two nieces Brandy Solomon and Kara Castaneda; nephew, Thomas (Jessica) Solomon and 2 great nephews, Logan and Owen.
A funeral service for Mark will take place at 11:00 am on Monday, January 4, 2016 at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana with Rev. Rebecca Lynn Smith officiating. He will be laid to rest at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
