Marlene Jo Green, age 75, of Hobart passed away Wednesday May 15, 2013 at the Valparaiso Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born November 29, 1937 in Wheatfield, Indiana to the late Walter and Dorothy (Kerns) Wojtysiak. Marlene married Raymond Green on September 24, 1952 in Mississippi. She was a homemaker loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Marlene is survived by her husband Raymond of Valparaiso and formerly of Hobart; her son Rickey (Pamela) Green of Hobart; her two daughters Jackie (Craig) Dobis of Portage and Tracy Green; her two brothers James Wojtysiak of Portage and Ron Wojtysiak of Valparaiso; her three sisters Yvonne (Mark) Paradis of Kouts and Sheila Nicewonder of Texas and Sharon (Jim) Ward of Valparaiso; her six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother Dan Wojtysiak and one sister Jerry Lynn Foddrell.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 17, 2013 at 11 am at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart, with Rev. Bill Barrow officiating. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be Friday from 2-8 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel,
