Marsha Frank

Marsha P. Frank, age 71 of Hobart passed away Saturday, February 15, 2025. She was born on November 4, 1953, in Hammond, Indiana to the late Inos and Inez Farmer. Against all odds in life, she was determined to succeed. After getting married at the age of fourteen, she obtained her GED and went on to obtain her insurance license, real estate license, and associates degree to become a registered nurse. She was a voracious reader, a talented artist, and enjoyed writing poetry. She was a 47-year friend of Bill W., who helped her salvage her life from alcoholism. Marsha impacted many lives in a positive way by advocating for people, especially women and the underprivileged.

She is survived by her son, C. Brian Frank; daughters, Catherine (Tim) Fulton; Wanda (Tom) Mathis, Angela (Frankie) Monahan; grandchildren, Tommy (Kayla) Mathis, Ryan (Rachel) Vance, Brittany Mathis, Chrissy Mathis, Timothy Fulton, Haley (Kerigan Wise) Yanez, Victoria (Noah Finch) Monahan, Noah (Hailey Mathas) Monahan; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Norma Jones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Inos and Inez Farmer; her beloved husband, Joseph Frank; son, Joseph B. Frank; great grandson, Damon Mathis; sister, Marlene Morgan; brothers-in-law, Tom Jones, and Ray Morgan.

A funeral service for Marsha will take place Sunday, February 23, 2025, at 3:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart.
