Marsha Reder

Marsha Ann Reder (nee Kornas), age 68, of Hobart, passed away Friday, November 17, 2017 at St. Mary Medical Center. She was born on February 25, 1949 in Hammond, Indiana to the late Raymond and Sophie Kornas. On August 28, 1972 in Crown Point, Indiana, she married the love of her life, Malcholm Reder. In her free time, Marsha liked to knit and crochet. She loved her family and dedicated her life to taking care of them.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, Malcholm Reder; daughters, Melissa Haslett, Della Sanchez, Kimberly Reder; grandchildren, Jeffery Haslett, Deanna Sanchez, Lawrence "L.J." Sanchez, Jazzlyn Damron, Clayton Aguillar, Violet Aguilar; brothers, Larry (Lupe) Kornas, Timothy (Buffy) Kornas and Steve Kornas.

Marsha was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Sophie Kornas; nephews, Elmer Wagner, Theodore Sakovich; nieces, Sherri Dunfee and Darla Martz.

A funeral service for Marsha will take place Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel, 3781 Central Ave., Lake Station. Cremation will follow the service.
