Martha Faye Ralph, 81, long-term resident of Portage, Indiana passed peacefully on May 30, 2015 at VNA Horton Hospice in Valparaiso, Indiana.

Martha was born in Mattimore, Indiana to Homer and Virginia Carey on July 1, 1933. She was a graduate of Midway Boarding School, Midway, Kentucky. She was a former employee of Bell Telephone and Indiana Toll Road. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her husband Bobby Gene Ralph along with 5 children. Teresa Menard of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Larry Menard (Cathy) of Bagwell, Texas, Virginia Kay Valdez of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Barbara Weber (James) of Galloway, Ohio, and Martha Drake of Portage, Indiana. Grandchildren are as follows: Dawn Menard of Portage, Indiana, Kimberly DeBoer of Portage, Indiana, Holly Weber-Milosevich (Rudy) of Galloway, Ohio, Kirstin Jenkins (Greg)of Galloway, Ohio, Andrew Weber of Galloway, Ohio, Kerry Clabaugh of San Antonio, Texas, Joe Clabaugh (Rolena) of Portsmouth, Ohio, Steve Clabaugh of Royal Palm Beach, Florida, and Michaella Lena Grace Drake of Portage, Indiana. There are also 4 great grandchildren.

Martha was an avid collector of antiques, baskets, and loved spending time with her family. She was loved by all and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She had a contagious smile and the most beautiful blue eyes.

The Wake will be Tuesday June 2, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage, Indiana with a 7:00 p.m. Order of Eastern Star service. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, (219) 762-3013 or go online to extend condolences at www.reesfuneralhomes.com. Burial will be Friday, June 5, 2015 at Rose Cemetery Hardin County, Illinois.
