Martha L. Reed, age 85, first resident of South Haven, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016. She was born on December 24, 1930 to the late Paul and Mary (nee Cornell) Meyers. Martha was very generous and donated to many animal causes. Martha will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother who loved music, especially Elvis.

Martha is survived by sons, Keith A. (Cynthia) Reed, Jr., Douglas Reed, David (Amy) Reed, Tony (Laura) Reed, Kevin Reed; daughters, Leslie (John) Ashabran, Rhonda (Robert) Tatemichi, Gerri (David) Miller, Jacqueline Blissmer; and grandchildren, Jaime (John) Mueller, Dylan Miller, Lena Vestal, Perry Fishel.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Keith A. Reed Sr.

A funeral service for Martha will be held Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road Hobart, IN 46342 with Rev. Paul Quanz officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park, Hobart. Visitation will take place Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home. For more information, please call 219-942-2109.
