Martin Pineda
age 74, of Gary, passed away Tuesday November 9, 2010 at St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart. He was a member of St. Mary of the Lake Church and proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Martin is survived by his loving family; wife, Irene (nee Corralez) Pineda of Gary, Sons; Frankie Pineda of East Chicago and Tony Pineda of Chicago, IL. daughters; Sheila Pineda of East Chicago and stepdaughter Diana Tirado of Gary, brothers; Jimmy Pineda, Mike Pineda, Dionisio (Maria de la luz) Pineda, Michael (Alice) Pineda and James Pineda, sisters; Maria (Vincent) Melendez , Elena (Louis) Ramos, Betty (Denito) Carrillo and Margaret (Richard) Doe, and other loving family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his daughter; Tina Marie Pineda and parents; Martin and Rebecca (nee Gonzales) Pineda.
A 10:00 am Mass of Christian burial for Martin will be held Friday November 12, 2010 directly at St. Mary of the Lake, 6060 Miller Ave. Gary, IN. 46403 with an additional visitation from 9:00-10:00 am. Visitation will be Thursday, November 11, 2010 from 2:00-8:00 at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave. Portage.
