Martine Hope (nee Mastison), of Portage, IN and formerly Fordsville, KY, passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021.

Martine was born on January 15, 1931 in Fordsville, KY to the late Ira and Sallie Mae Mastison.  She was preceded in death by her husband Morton Ray Hope, Sr. "Hoppie" who she married on December 17, 1946 and spent 68 years together.  She was a lifetime member of the VFW in Porter, IN.  She enjoyed gardening and was devoted to her many grandchildren.  She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her children: Carolyn (Tom) Scott, Morton Ray (Judy) Hope, Jr., Milton (Nancy Scalzitti) Hope, and Theresa (Mark Cutrel) Knight; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law: Harlan (Judy) Hope; sisters-in-law: Velma Jones, Flossie (Charles) West, and Elizabeth Sublett; niece: Charmaine Wathern-Wierzbicki; many beloved nieces and nephews.

She is also preceded in death by her daughters: Sally Randolph and Debra Kay Hope; son-in-law: Bill Randolph; her 6 siblings: Louise, Victor, Lucille, Alene, Hoover, and Faye; and mother-in-law Ruth Hope.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. from Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel (5341 Central Ave, Portage).  A visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. and continue until the time of service.  Cremation will follow and is entrusted to Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel.
