Mary A. White

Mary A. White, age 82 a longtime Hobart resident passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2023. She was born on June 19, 1940, in Muhlenberg County Kentucky to the late Marvin and Carmie Sweeney. She was a longtime member of the Hobart Assembly of God.

She is survived by her husband, Glenn White of Hobart, IN; one daughter-in-law, Mary Beth White of Hobart, IN; two grandsons, Jason and Jared White, one great-grandson, Liam White.

She was preceded in death by her son, Gerald White, and one sister, Margaret Finley, two brothers, James and Roger Sweeney.

Funeral services are Monday, May 15, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart with Rev. Ryan McDowell officiating. Burial will follow at Angelcrest Cemetery. Visitation is Monday, May 15, 2023 just prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart. (219) 942-2109.
