Obituary
MARY ALVARADO, age 88, of Hobart, formerly a longtime Cicero, IL resident, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015. Mary was born to the late Manuel and Reyes "Grace" Sarmina on March 2, 1927 in Chicago.
Mary is survived by her 3 daughters, Patricia Alvarado of Berwyn, IL, Mary Ann Chavez of East Chicago and Elizabeth Alvarado; son, Peter Alvarado of Hammond, IN; 15 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Connie Luna and Carolina Duran.
She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Anthony and Louie Sarmina; and 1 sister, Catalina DeLaRosa.
The family will be holding a committal service on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Carmel and Queen of Heaven Cemeteries, 1400 S. Wolf Rd., Hillside, IL at Grave 3, Lot S32, Block 20, Sect 23.
