Mary V. Newsom-Crosier
Mary Crosier, age 83, a Hobart resident since 1956, passed away on May 22, 2016. Mary was born November 24, 1932 in Trimble, Tennessee to the late Charlie and Othel Edmaiston. She was a member of Jubilee Worship Center in Hobart. Mary was a past member of 27 yrs. at the River Forest Elementary School PTA, High School PTA, New Chicago Volunteer Fire Department, Hobart Township Women's Democratic Club, present member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 454 and also a charter member of the New Chicago Library.

Mary is survived by her husband, Robert Crosier of Hobart; two sons, Steve (Janice) Newsom, Barry (Kim) Newsom; three daughters, Misty (Ty) Ramirez, Lori (fiancée Ken Collmar) Reno and Lana (Greg) Cunningham; three step-children, Cheryl (Robert) Grace, Kevin (Susan) Crosier and Bobby (Margie) Crosier; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Martha Kirk numerous nephews and nieces and other loving family members and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her first husband, D.C. Newsom; two daughters, Sheryl Newsom, Stephanie Newsom; three brothers, Chuck, Earl and Eddie Edmaiston; sisters, Ruth and Ellen; step-son, Terry Crosier and her parents.
In lieu of flowers donations to Horton VNA Hospice in Valparaiso would be appreciated.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 27, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Dale P. Combs officiating directly at Jubilee Worship Center, 415 N. Hobart Road, Hobart, Indiana.
