Mary Virginia "Jenny" Hrezo, age 86, of Hobart, passed away Friday, April 3, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 1, 1928 in Gary, Indiana to the late Joseph and Elizabeth Ray. Jenny devoted her life to her family and will always be remembered as a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Nativity of our Savior Catholic Church and the Rosary Sodality.

Jenny is survived by her beloved husband of 70 years, Raymond Hrezo; sons, Thomas (Barbara) Hrezo, Edward (Jackie) Hrezo; daughters, Susan (Gerald) Mytyk, Kathi (John) Ryszka; son in law, Bob (Libbi) Urban; daughter in law, Sharon Hrezo; brother, Charles Ray; sisters, Helen Willing, Dorothy Mitchell; 18 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; numerous and loved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Raymond Hrezo; daughter, Theresa Urban; brothers, Joseph Ray, John Ray; sisters, Catherine Ray, Thelma Rasch, Betty Nacarato.

Visitation for Jenny will be held Thursday, April 9, 2015 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Friday morning, April 10, 2015 from 9:00 am until 10:15 am followed by prayers at 10:15 am at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana 46342. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Friday, April 10, 2015 at 11:00 am at Nativity of Our Savior Catholic Church, 2949 Willowcreek Road, Portage, Indiana. Rev. Lourdu Pasala, officiating.
