Mary E. Klein,
age 92 of Coupeville, Washington passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Mrs. Klein was born April 7, 1919 in Footedale, Pennsylvania and was a resident of the Uniontown, Pennsylvania area until 1965 when she moved with her family to Gary, Indiana. She resided in the Gary/Hobart area until 2007 when she moved to Coupeville, Washington. She was a long time member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Gary serving as Treasurer for over 30 years and as a member of the choir. Prior to her move to Washington, she was a member of Augustana Lutheran Church of Hobart.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years William J. Klein.
She is survived by her children Mary (Paul) Dickinson of Coupeville, WA, Nancy (Rudy) Kerzan of Clinton, WA, Tim (Carolyn) Klein of Camano Island, WA and Will (Megan) Klein of Chesterton, IN; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grand children; brothers Regis (Fran) Barrett of Brooklyn, OH, Dale (Midge) Barrett of OH, sister Norma Barrett of Uniontown, PA.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 11 AM at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart with Rev. Charles Strietelmeier officiating. Friends may call Wednesday May 4, 2011 from 5 PM to 8 PM at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel. Burial at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN.
