Mary Ann Knight
Hobart, Indiana
Age 68, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Porter Regional in Valparaiso. Mary had been a lifelong Northwest Indiana resident and longtime member of Augustana Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hobart. She was a 1963 Hammond High School graduate. On May 4, 1968, Mary married the love of her life Arthur O. Knight in Hammond, IN. Mary worked as a bookkeeper at Knight Coin and Jewelry, and was a past secretary for the Hobart Pool. Mary enjoyed spending her time, traveling with her family, shopping, cooking, crocheting and taking care of her special cats.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of 45 yrs., Arthur O. Knight of Hobart, daughter, Bridget E. Knight of Chicago, son, John (Jennifer) Knight, grandson, Rowan Knight all of Indianapolis and sister, Pat (Frank) Stofko of Schererville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Mary (nee Cuprak) Scripnec.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 28, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Ronald Deck officiating at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana 46342. Burial at
