Mary Ann Kuechenberg, age 83, of Highland, passed away Monday, July 7, 2014. She was born on November 3, 1930 in Gary, Indiana to the late Ture and Christina Soderquist. On November 26, 1949 Mary Ann married the love of her life, Alfred Kuechenberg . She enjoyed working puzzles and playing Yahtzee with her sister. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Randy (Judi) Kuechenberg and Gary (Cynthia) Kuechenberg; brother, David (Kathy) Soderquist; sister, Arlene Leonard; grandchildren, Brad (Jessica) Kuechenberg, Joshua (Susan) Kuechenberg, Craig Kuechenberg, Anna Kuechenberg, Nathanael Kuechenberg, Mary Joy Kuechenberg and Seth Kuechenberg; 3 great grandchildren, Ryan, Lauren and Eliza.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Ture and Christina Soderquist; husband, Alfred Kuechenberg; brother, Bob Soderquist; grandson, John Kuechenberg and brother-in-law, Harry Leonard. A funeral service for Mary Ann will be held Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 12:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart with Pastor Steve Miller officiating. She will be laid to rest at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will take place Wednesday, July 9, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
