Mary L. Kuiper

Age 81, of Valparaiso, Indiana, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2026. She was born on April 7, 1944. Mary was a devoted and loving wife and a fiercely protective and caring mother to her sons. She was a proud and loving grandmother, and her granddaughters brought her endless joy and purpose. Mary spent many years selflessly caring for her husband, showing a depth of love, loyalty and devotion that defined who she was. She found peace and happiness in the simple joys of life. Mary loved the outdoors, enjoyed walking, riding her bike, and soaking up the sunshine. Nature was her place of calm reflection, and comfort. Her life was centered around her family. She was committed, nurturing and always put the needs of her loved ones before her own. Mary will be remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and a woman of quiet strength, compassion, and unwavering dedication to her family. Her presence was a source of safety, love and stability, and her legacy will live on through the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Kuiper Jr.; son, Patrick (Jill) Kuiper and three granddaughters, Jade, Joslyn and Amanda Kuiper.

She is preceded in death by her father, Patrick Quinn; son Paul Kuiper; mother, Lillian Quinn and two sisters, Ann Grenell and Barbara Owen.
