Mary K. Livergood (nee Cooley) age 60 of the Willows in Valparaiso, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2011. She was formerly a longtime Portage resident and a member of the Portage First United Methodist Church. Mary enjoyed bingo, Wii Sports, and crafting.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Livergood of Portage, IN; 1 son, Ken (Jamie) Livergood of Fort Wayne, IN; 1 daughter, Angela (John Nelson) Nelson-Livergood of Portage, IN; mother, Dorothy Cooley of Valparaiso, IN; 1 brother, William (Diane) Cooley of Valparaiso, IN; 4 grandchildren, Joshua Livergood, Kayla Marr, Dylan Nelson, Billie "B.B." Nelson, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Cooley.

Funeral services are Monday, August 15, 2011 at 12 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage with Pastor Jeff Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
