Mary M. Lush-Westbury

Mary M. Lush-Westbury (nee Wilson), age 61, of Valparaiso, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016. She was born on April 14, 1955 in Gary, Indiana to the late Francis and Dorothy (nee Engle) Wilson. Mary was a 1973 Portage High School graduate and a retired assistant manager of Atlas Oil. On August 29, 2015 Mary married Ronald Westbury in Portage. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald G. Westbury; sons, Steven D. (Katharine) Lush and Charles Zeck; daughter: Sherry (Edward) Howard; Step-son, Timothy (Cari) Westbury; step-daughter, Amy Westbury; mother- in -law, Wanda (Don) Westbury; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister, Linda (Larry) Shadley; three sisters-in-laws, Sherry (Bob) Lush, Nova Diane (Fred) Mossman and Kimberly Taylor; brother- in –law, Curtis (Kathy) Lush; her furry companion, Buddy; special family friend, Jerry Hawkins; numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.
Her parents preceded her in death and her first husband, Steve C. Lush, and twin brother, Marvin F. Wilson.
A funeral service for Mary will take place Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 10:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel, 3781 Central Avenue, Lake Station, Indiana with Pastor Tina Green officiating. She will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Portage. Visitation will be held Friday, April 22, 2016 from 2:00 p.m until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
