Mary Lou McCallister, age 80, a resident of Portage and formerly of Saint Joseph, Michigan passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2011. She was born on February 7, 1931 in Holcomb, Missouri. Mary was a retired office clerk for Whirlpool Corporation in Benton Harbor. Mary attended Real Life Community Church and loved to travel and read.
Mary is survived by her loving family; sister Margie Lee (Benigene) Allen, Portage, nieces Belinda Jo (Mike) Halabicky, and Judy (Kevin) Gehrels, nephews Billy Shepherd and Barry Allen.
A visitation for Mary McCallister will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Rees Funeral Home – Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage with funeral services at 11:00 am.
