Mary Catherine O'Boyle

Mary C O'Boyle, age 69 of Porter passed away Saturday November 17, 2018 at Porter Regional Hospital in Valparaiso. Mary was born July 13, 1949 in Gary, Indiana to the late George L and Carrie L (Bates) Turzai. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, wife and homemaker. She loved playing cards, bunco, crafting and crocheting.

Mary is survived by her two loving children, James P (Becky) O'Boyle of Lake Station and Catherine M Tucker of Porter; five grandchildren, James D Tucker, Seth X Tucker, Ronald S Tucker, Jr., Marissa C Tucker and Samantha N O'Boyle; seven sisters, Lillian Sealy of MA, Carol "Punky" Roll of Lake Station, Georgeann (Jim) Rodrick of DeMotte, Elizabeth (Tom) Modesto of Portage, Anne Lewis of Medaryville, Fran (Darrin) McCoole of Valparaiso and Lois (Bob) Hanna of Portage;

brother, William Kenneth Rainey (Turzai)of Kokomo; many nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, James A O'Boyle; her son-in-law, Ronald S Tucker, Sr.; two brothers, Louis G Turzai and a still born infant.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Friday November 23, 2018 in Calvary Cemetery with Deacon Dennis Guernsey officiating. Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel was entrusted with Mary's Services.
