Mary A. Roth

Mary A. Roth, age 94, of Portage, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017. She was born on June 2, 1922 in Heilwood, PA to the late Joseph and Augustine Uskert. In her free time, she enjoyed dancing, gardening and sewing. Above all, she loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and cherished the time she spent with them.

Mary is survived by her son, Chuck (Sharon) Roth; daughters, Mary Ann Schultz, Linda (Don Magee) Vandergriff; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Roth; daughter, Kathleen Beard; long-time companion, Ralph Tomlinson; brothers, Joseph Uskert, Emery Uskert, John Uskert; sisters, Augustine Dropp, Ann Nemcock, Kathryn Nicholson, Pauline Drapac.

Visitation for Mary will be held Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage. A funeral service will take place Friday, February 17, 2017 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. Andrew Corona officiating. She will be laid to rest at Calumet Park Cemetery.
