Mary C. Trail

Mary C. Trail, 90, of Hobart, passed away on August 22,2024. A proud alumna of Hobart High School's class of 1951, she pursued further education at Moody Bible Institute, obtaining a nursing degree. Her professional journey included a stint at Lutheran Hospital until its closure, and a remarkable 28-year tenure at Visiting Nurses of Chicago, where she ultimately retired. Mary legacy will be marked by her tireless work ethic, loving nature and dedication to her friendships.

Mary leaves behind her sister, Rachel (Earl) Giles; brother, Robert (Beverly) Trail; numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her father, Ezra Trail, mother, Rachel B. Trail; three sisters, Golda Baker, Flora Wible, and Peggy Hill, and brother, Donald Trail.
