Mary Jane Wiegand

Mary Jane Wiegand, age 78, of Chesterton, formerly of Valparaiso passed away on October 5, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born September 23, 1945, in Rensselaer, Indiana to the late William and Della (nee Snow) Ferrell.  Mary was an amazing mother who lived her wonderful life for her family, she will be missed greatly. Her family was her one treasure, she loved spending time with them.

Mary will be remembered by her son, Wes (Bessa) Wiegand; daughter, Tricia Wiegand; seven grandchildren, Tasha Wiegand, Shanna (Matt) Cauley, Wesley (Amanda) Wiegand Jr., Amara Wiegand, Felesha Casler, Chad Kenworthy and Kyra Kenworthy; 16 great-grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations to Mary's family to help with funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated.

Visitation for Mary will be from 12:00pm – 1:00pm Thursday, October 12,2023 at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 1:00p.m. also at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel.
