Marycarol Beardsley, age 77, of Hammond, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2012 at St. Anthony Hospice in Crown Point. Marycarol had been a lifelong Northwest Indiana resident. She was a graduate of Hammond High School and then graduated from Purdue University, Lafayette. Marycarol held various jobs including retail sales for Carson, Pirie, Scott & Co., in Hammond, Liz Claiborne products and even did some professional modeling.
She is survived by 2 sons, John Beardsley of Hammond, Mark Beardsley of Washington, D.C., 4 grandchildren: Daniel C. Beardsley, Jr., Dannielle Lin Beardsley (fiancé, Nicholas Cirillo), Tristen Robert Anthony Beardsley and Christian Dakota Beardsley, daughter-in-law, Robin Beardsley of Lake Station. Her son, Daniel C. Beardsley, Sr. preceded her in death.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 4, 2012 from 9:00 am until 9:30 am at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart. Prayers will begin at 9:30 am and then proceeding to St. Bridget Catholic Church for the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am with Rev. Dominic V. Bertino celebrating the Mass.
