Maureen Blouin

Maureen Blouin, age 73, of Chesterton passed away Sunday June 13, 2021, at the VNA Hospice center in Valparaiso, Indiana. Maureen was born September 19, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Edward and Patricia (Sloslavich) Krolikowski.  Maureen was a former salesclerk for Ace Hardware, but above all she was a beloved homemaker, mother and wife.

Maureen is survived by her husband Reginald J. Blouin; her three daughters, Dawn Blouin, Jennifer Clemans, and Amy Blouin; five grandchildren; two great grandchild; her brother and sister, Hank and Kathy; and many extended family members and dear friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Thursday June 17, 2021, at the Rees Funeral Home 600 West Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana 46342. Her funeral service will follow immediately at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Crown Point, Indiana.
