McKinley "Tony" Turner, age 66 of Portage passed away Tuesday September 8, 2015 at the Horton VNA Hospice Center in Valparaiso. He was born September 29, 1948 in Vicksburg, MS to the late David Turner and Lois Houston. Tony was a security guard for US Steel and an US Army Veteran serving in Vietnam.

Tony is survived by his wife Greta of Kouts; two sons Tony (Michelle) Turner of Portage and Brandon Turner of Elkhart; one daughter Annalisha (Daniel) Grover of Portage; six grandchildren Angelo Turner, Mia Turner, Desirae Turner, Damyn Holt, Lincoln Turner and Ayanna Grover; many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one son Tony R. Turner, his parents, and many other relatives.

Funeral services will be Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 12:00pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage, Indiana. Visitation will be Sunday, September 13, 2015 from 11:00am till the time of service at 12:00pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel.
