Michael B. Baird, age 58, of Lake Station passed away Friday, December 4, 2015. Michael was born May 24, 1957 in Gary, Indiana to Bruce and Shirley (nee Ennis) Baird. Michael worked for the family business, B Bar Services in Lake Station. Michael will be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle and friend.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley Baird of Lake Station; two sisters, Susan McElfresh of Fort Worth, Texas and Sheryl Baird of Indianapolis; niece, Katie McElfresh and Nephew, Drew McElfresh and many other loving family members and friends.
Michael was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 am on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Rees Funeral Home; Olson Chapel 5341 Central Avenue, Portage, IN 46368, with Pastor Bob Burton officiating. Burial will take place at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 7, 2015 from 2:00-8:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, with a VFW Post 9323 service at 6:00 pm.
