Michael P. Barrett

Age 69 passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Brickyard nursing home in Portage. He was born on August 8, 1955, to the late William "Bill" Barrett and Barbara (nee Russell) Stephenson in Gary, Indiana. Michael was a true original, he retired from Com Ed electrical company and later pursued his passion as the owner and operator of Grin and Berrett sport fishing charter, where he shared his enthusiasm for fly fishing, he also loved riding his road king and being part of Retreads motorcycle club in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

He is survived by numerous cousins and friends.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents and brother Timothy Barrett.
